Hello and welcome! My name is Corinthian Carouthers II and I am 38 years young. Yes, I was named after my mom which is rare for women, but I love my name and I think it has a good ring to it.
I am a Co-Owner of a Beauty School, Educator, and creator of the Natural Hair Education Podcast which I launched in January 2020. I started an online school to teach beauty school students and new stylists how to service the natural hair community with proper hair care and braiding services. My goal is to help them increase their value and income in the natural hair care industry.
I have been in the beauty industry for exactly 19 years. I hold a license as a cosmetologist, natural hair culturist and Instructor. I have worked behind the chair, taught in front of classrooms, created curriculums, and ran a beauty school (as I am still currently doing). I saw a lack of natural hair education many years ago as licensed stylists would reach out to me for personal education in this area. My passion is to prevent new beauty professionals from entering the industry ill-prepared and unable to service their clients properly giving them the resources to increase their knowledge and improve their skills.
I love art, nature, and a good book. I absolutely LOVE food and my goal is to someday become Vegan.
