Queendom

I once her Jill Scott reply to a questions that was asked to her while on tour with Erykah Badu.  The question was "how do you feel going on after Erykah Badu"?

Jill answered so beautifully and eloquently answered "We have our own thing and that's the magic.  We all come with our own strength.  We are our own Queendom.  My strength can never compare to hers, and her strength can never compare to mine".

As women we can get caught up in our daily lives and so busy that we forget to take care of our “Queendom”. We each have a unique beauty about ourselves and a strength that no one else can compare to.

I stated to implement these 5 pillars into my life during Quarantine 2020. I begin to learn so much about the person I am on the inside. “I” became my most important person. “I” being to cater to me and my needs and most importantly “I” gave up the things that no longer served me.

Here are the 5 Pillars of Your Queendom and questions to answer to guide you to a solid Queendom:

  1. Body- This pillar includes your physical health, the foods your eat and your skin hair and nails. How do you take care of theses areas on a daily basis? We are what we eat and if you are not moving or exercising, one day you body will not serve you.

  2. Mind- This pillar includes your thoughts and emotions. How do you contribute to your mental health? What do you do to strengthen your mind? Music, television and different forms of media are all feeding your mind. Are you satisfied with the consumption of what you seeing and listening to?

  3. Spirit- This pillar is all about your inner BEing. How do you nurture your spiritual self? Do you pray or meditate? Do you have time to sit still? You can get so much clarity and even inspiration from getting still and knowing who you are.

  4. Space- This pillar is two fold, which includes the physical space around you and how that space serves you. The second part is the people that occupy space in your life such as family and friends. Are they an asset and build you up or do they drain your energy?

  5. Money- This is the final pillar and usually the one people try to avoid the most. How are you taking care of your finances? Do you plan and budget? How do you spend your money? Are you an emotional spender? Money can create freedom and power. It is worth your attention

Making positive daily deposits into these 5 areas of your life everyday will being to yield you the results that will radiate you from the inside out. Get your Queendom journal and work these Pillars everyday.
